How a Coloured PPR Pipe Is Actually Made

A pipe extruder does not stock green resin and white resin. Ampacet, which manufactures masterbatch for pipe compounds, states that for light colours β€” "colors such as blue or yellow" is its own phrasing β€” the let-down ratio is most often 2% (49:1) to 4% (24:1) for pressure pipe, and less for non-pressure uses such as conduit. One more caution that colour genuinely does bear on.
